5 common treatments before GETTING MARRIED!

Initial Consult (12 months before)

It is generally more advantageous to schedule an appointment with a medical professional as early as possible. We advise meeting with providers immediately upon becoming engaged, regardless of whether you have finalized your wedding date. During the consultation, your healthcare provider should be capable of devising a personalized treatment strategy tailored to your skin concerns, objectives, and desired timeline.

Forehead filler – (9 months before)

You’ll want to start getting filler about 9 months before your wedding date. Have the consultation as far out as possible to prevent making a spontaneous decision that could leave you with undesired results. It’ll also allow time for dissolving and retreatment if you’re unhappy with your result. This is not the time to dramatically transform your look, e.g., double the size of your lips or build out bold cheekbones. Instead, our providers recommend getting subtle treatments throughout the next year to six months. You don’t want a drastic change right before the wedding day, because you’re going to have so many other events like a bridal shower, engagement party, etc. You want to look like yourself (but better) so a natural, smooth transition is best.

Acne-scar treatments and collagen boosters
(5 months before unless severe scarring)

If you have extensive acne scarring, your healthcare provider will recommend initiating resurfacing treatments as soon as possible. Typically, for most resurfacing procedures, it is advisable to undergo three treatments, spaced one month apart. This would mean beginning the treatments four months prior to the wedding, with the final one scheduled a few weeks before the event. However, if the acne scarring is more severe, it might be necessary to commence treatment even earlier, as it may require more than three sessions.

Botox – (6 months before & then 4 weeks before)

We recommend trying neurotoxin treatments six months in advance of your wedding to ensure satisfaction with the outcomes and allow ample time for any required modifications. If you are pleased with the results, we can replicate the treatment around four weeks before the wedding. Additionally, we advise scheduling a touch-up session one to two weeks after the initial injection to ensure flawless results on your wedding day and, naturally, for your wedding photographs.

Hair-growth treatments – (1 year)

To address hair loss before your wedding, we recommend initiating the treatment as soon as possible. Opting for a laser Keralase procedure typically entails undergoing a minimum of six sessions, scheduled every two weeks. Ideally, starting this treatment regimen one year to six months in advance of the wedding allows ample time to achieve favorable outcomes. This procedure is painless and considerably more affordable than PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatments. If the laser Keralase procedure proves effective, you can continue with maintenance treatments. However, if it doesn’t yield satisfactory results, you will still have sufficient time to explore alternative options.
